I was Karen Walker, aka Anastasia Beaverhausen, for Halloween and no Karen costume would be complete without a strong martini in hand. Rather than toting around a more traditional, dry martini I opted for a fruity version. I’m so glad I did because this has easily become one of the easiest and tastiest cocktails I’ve made in quite a while.
2 ounces pear vodka (I used Absolut)
1 ½ ounces St-Germain Elderflower liqueur
½-1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ ounce simple syrup
pear slice for garnish
Combine all liquid ingredients in a shaker full of ice and shake until well combined and chilled. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a thin slice of pear. Enjoy!
